Five of Bristol’s best breweries are rolling up the shutters again for the first weekend of Bristol Beer Week, over the August bank holiday.
Arbor Ales (181 Easton Road, BS5 0HQ)
Dawkins Ales (Unit 2 Lawnwood Road, BS5 0EF)
Good Chemistry Brewing (William Street, St Philips, BS2 0RG)
Left Handed Giant (Wadehurst Industrial Estate, St Philips Road, BS2 0JE, 12pm to 6pm)
Moor Beer (Days Road, BS2 0QS, Sat 12pm-10pm, Sun 12pm-6pm)
Breweries will be open from 11am to 8pm on both days, unless noted.
With just a short walk between each brewery, it’s a chance to meet the brewers, explore the area and sample some great beers. The Brewery Trail is centred around the start of the Bristol to Bath cycle path, and between Temple Meads and Lawrence Hill stations.
Pick up a map at your first brewery, and if you visit all five you’re in with a chance to win a selection of East Bristol breweries beers!
